Paweł Churski

Associate Professor at AMU, Director of the Institute of Socio-Economic Geography and Spatial Management, Vice President of the Polish Committee on Spatial Planning at Polish Academy of Science, member of the CoRep of the Association of European Schools of Planning (AESOP). He is an expert in socio-economic geography, spatial management, agglomeration development, regional growth and regional policy including regional innovation systems and RIS3. He is national and regional expert in regional and local development, labor markets and standards of living in Polish metropolis and cities. Guests (including lecturer) foreign universities or institutions, e.g. Free University in Brussels, School of Slavonic & East European Studies University of London, Pole Universitaire Europeen Tuluza, University of Abertay Dundee, Comenius Univeristy in Bratislava, Vilnius University, Irkuck University, European Commission, Committee of Regions, and participant in international conferences. He is the author of over a two hundred publications, including nine monographs and he is a leader and main conductor of scientific projects. He is innovator and manager of higher education.
