Andjelka Mihajlov

United Nations expert, consultant and scientist, full professor at the Faculty of Technical Sciences at the University of Novi Sad, retired from 2015. She has more than 300 references (of which significant number is in reference world scientific journals) in environment and climate change, chemical engineering thermodynamics and materials science, as well as consulting references in various countries, including projects supported by the EU and the World bank. On invitation, she teaches at various universities in the country and the world. Acknowledged by UNEP in 2006 as the women environmental leader of Western Balkan. She was the Minister for the Protection of Natural Resources and Environment from (2002–2004), the member of National Committee for UNESCO (2008-2015) and the member of the Advisory Board for Environmental and Social Issues of the EBRD (2005-2010) in London. She is honorable president of Environmental Ambassadors for Sustainable Development. Since August 2015 she has been a member in Negotiating Team for Negotiating the Accession of the Republic of Serbia to the European Union, in charge of the environment and climate change.
