TeRRIFICA was represented at 2nd edition of International Conference: „Environment at Crossroads: SMART approaches for a sustainable future – ECOSMART” organized by University of Bucharest.
Prof. Andrzej Mizgajski (geographer from AMU team) gave an lecture: “Fostering Innovative Action towards Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation–Approach of the TERRIFICA H2020 Project” during plenary session. The presentation included most important goals, assumptions and way of implementation of the TeRRIFICA project. Special attention was paid to crowdmapping issues – an innovative tool developed mainly by AMU team, which will be used to gather data from inhabitants. These data will allow i.e. for identification the hot spots, where the climate changes especially have been affecting people’s life.
