Arnau Queralt
Arnau Queralt holds a B.A in Environmental Sciences and a Master in Public Management. He also holds a Diploma in European Studies from the Diplomatic School of the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He is director of the Advisory Council for the Sustainable Development of Catalonia since October 2011 and secretary of the Interministerial Commission in charge of the plan for the 2030 Agenda Implementation in Catalonia since February 2017. Arnau chairs the EEAC network as of January 2015 and co-chairs its WG Sustainable Development. On behalf of the EEAC he has been an observer member to the EC High-Level Multi-stakeholder Platform for the Implementation of the SDGs in the EU and also member of the GUNI Expert Group on SDGs and High Education.
Arnau is member of the Steering Committee of MedECC (network of Mediterranean Experts on Climate and Environmental Change). In July 2019 he was appointed to the Catalan Government Railways Social Responsibility Committee. In the past he was director of Patronat Català ProEuropa, member of the board of the University Institute of European Studies (Autonomous University of Barcelona), and president of the Catalan Association of Environmental Professionals.
